In just five months, a Mövenpick Wein branch was created in Locarno, perfectly combining enjoyment and design. In a commercial space of around 300 m2, Livit Construction Management Lugano completed a high-quality interior fit-out – from the shell construction to the turnkey handover.
Teamwork under pressure
After the completion of the shell construction phase, Livit Construction Management took over the overall coordination of the interior fit-out. The central challenge was to harmoniously integrate Mövenpick-specific design requirements – including high-quality materials, a warm and inviting colour and lighting atmosphere, and functional presentation areas – into the existing structures. At the same time, a coherent room concept had to be realised in several fit-out phases within a tight schedule.
The coordination between both the owner and the client, the coordination of the fit-out phases, and the time-critical implementation while other work was ongoing nearby were particularly challenging. In addition, there were short-term adjustments on the part of the client, which required the utmost flexibility.
The implementation was a real team effort: thanks to clear communication, careful coordination of all parties involved, and efficient interface management, the project was completed on time and to the highest quality standards, despite the demanding design requirements and complex framework conditions.
The result is impressive: high-quality materials and a design that perfectly reflects the brand identity of Mövenpick Wein. Sinuhe Magnoni, Senior Project Manager Construction Management, summarised the collaboration as follows: «It was a constructive experience with an excellent result.»
