An industry first from Livit

New HWZ CAS in real estate accounting

As a critical element of real estate management, real estate accounting is subject to correspondingly high professional demand, meaning specialists are highly sought after. That’s why Livit is driving progress and has joined forces with Wincasa, HWZ (University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich) and SVIT (Swiss Real Estate Association) to devise the new HWZ real estate accounting course. This collaboration is a first on the educational landscape.

Until now, there has been a gap in the field of further education for real estate accounting that will now be filled with this new training course. The course is modular and includes the real estate accounting certified training course, which can then be converted to an HWZ CAS in real estate accounting. HWZ is the first institution to offer the course, which focuses on practical topics, can be completed part-time while working, and conveys all of the professional and methodological basics. Following the 18-session course, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Advanced Studies in real estate accounting and 15 ECTS credits.

During the development of this new course, emphasis was placed on providing practice-based knowledge – from the experts themselves, as Livit and Wincasa are supplying teachers from their own staff. This not only ensures that the course provides a high standard of training; it is also founded on solid professional experience.

Prospective students will have the opportunity to follow a new, more direct path into real estate accounting without first having to obtain a vocational qualification in real estate management. We expect there to be further access to experts in this field.

The new training course will start for the first time in March 2022. You can find out more about the CAS in real estate accounting at:
