New: paying rent with QR-bills

What’s changing for you

As of 30 September 2022, payments using the red and orange payment slips (ESR) will be replaced by QR-bills throughout Switzerland. Below, you can find details of what will change for you with the switch to QR-bills:

Do you pay your rent by standing order?

From October, existing standing orders and payment templates can no longer be executed. In order for your rent to reach us on time, please make sure to update your standing order or payment template beforehand, either in your e-banking account or through your bank or post office.

Alternatively, you can have an LSV+ or direct debit set up. This will allow your bank or post office to debit the rent directly from your account.

Do you pay your bills at the counter?

You can simply continue paying your rent at your bank or post office counter. Just bring the QR payment part of the bill with you instead of the payment slip.

Do you pay your rent by e-banking/e-finance?

Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone in your banking app, or use your laptop’s webcam for e-banking. If you are unable to scan the printed code, you will still find all payment-related information printed on the QR payment part of the bill. Enter this as before to make the payment.
