Electric charging stations boost the attractiveness of real estate

Give your property new energy

Electromobility is developing at a rapid pace. This poses challenges for property owners and management companies, because where electric cars are on the move, there is also a need for charging facilities and the corresponding services. Livit is continuously professionalising its e-mobility services and is now cooperating with an experienced partner for billing the charging electricity.

You can't do much while you sleep – but you can charge an electric car. Provided there is a charging station in the residential complex. Since you cannot recharge an electric vehicle as quickly as you can refuel a petrol tank, the desire for a charging station at your residence is understandable. On the property owner's side, there are a few things to consider before installing charging infrastructure.

What to keep in mind for charging infrastructure

  • The capacity of the electricity grid and the space available must be checked and used optimally.
  • Accurate electricity metering for tenants is required in order to ensure fair cost allocation and the correct billing of the charging infrastructure and usage.
  • Electric vehicles can be charged at high power. This requires that safety is guaranteed at all times in accordance with the applicable standards.
  • The demand for electric vehicles and thus for residential charging stations will increase over time. Further expanding the installation can become complex and expensive. The charging infrastructure must therefore be designed in such a way that it can grow with the increasing demand for charging options and be scalable as cost-effectively as possible.
  • The charging technology used should be durable and able to evolve over the years with the ever-growing demands.

We are convinced that the field of electric mobility will continue to develop and that demand from tenants will keep growing. The availability of electric charging stations therefore contributes significantly to the attractiveness of your property. We are at your side with our services to help you meet the growing demand for charging stations and the associated challenges.
