Livit AG has been managing the Glatt shopping centre since 2020 and employs around 60 people there. The Glatt shopping centre is its very own microcosm and all of our employees know that they are an essential part of it. From facility management, administration and marketing to the Müsliburg crèche service, we cover a wide variety of jobs here.

Location

The Glatt shopping centre is very easy to access, positioned between Zurich city centre and the airport. Various public transport lines go straight to the shopping centre, while there are 4,500 free parking spaces for those coming by car. 

Job profiles at Glatt

Building services

Our Facility Service employees look after the operation and maintenance of the building and car park. This extensive area is managed by specialists in a number of different roles: Building services/HVAC, central building control, electronics, technical operations, waste management and cleaning. The facility management team conducts regular inspections, carries out repair and maintenance work, ensures cleanliness and power supply, and supports and assists with construction projects at the Glatt shopping centre.

Administration and information

Besides administrative matters relating to business operations, the admin and information team carries out various tasks pertaining specifically to the Glatt shopping centre, such as managing the centre’s own ‘currency’, the Glatttaler. This is no mean feat: Glatt gift coins generate sales of around CHF 6 million per year! Administration and information employees also staff info points for shoppers within the centre and the Centre Management reception desk for business tenants and suppliers.

Marketing

Centre marketing is boosting the Glatt’s image as a standalone brand. Our creative team is always coming up with new ideas and concepts for carrying out a range of activities. These include maintaining and developing the website and social media channels, collaborations with partners and influencers, events management, community management and public relations.

Müsliburg crèche service

Games, imagination, storytime: the Müsliburg is a world of its very own within the Glatt. Our employees take care of the children who spend some playtime there while their parents shop. Their job includes calling out the names of children who are wanted in the centre, managing the crèche payment counter and taking part in team meetings.
